These are scholarships offered by the university to applicants who excelled in Qatari high school and wish to enroll in one of the bachelor’s majors at Qatar University.

The student must apply for the admission scholarship for excellence only, and the outstanding students are selected for the His Highness the Prince’s Scholarship for Academic Excellence on a competitive basis.

A monthly salary of 1000 Qatari riyals for 9 months in the academic year

Application requirements:

Obtaining a Qatari secondary school certificate.
The applicant’s grade in high school must not be less than 95%.
The applicant must have completed secondary school in the same year in which he applies to benefit from the scholarship.
This scholarship is given in the fall semester of each academic year.
Obtaining the scholarship is conditional upon joining the university in the semester in which the scholarship is obtained. If the student does not pass the first semester, the scholarship will be canceled immediately and he will be notified of this via the university email
The applicant must not have received any additional funding or grant from another party.

Conditions for continuation of grants:

The student’s cumulative GPA at the university must not be less than 3.0 out of 4.0.
Pass at least 12 credit hours per semester.
The student must not exceed the approved period of study in the academic program according to the study plan.
To register in all semesters (fall and spring) consecutively.
Adhere to all university regulations, policies and procedures followed at Qatar University.
Commitment to the general conditions for the continuation of the grant.

Application for this scholarship does not require documents other than the documents required for admission.

These are scholarships offered by the university to international students wishing to enroll in the bachelor’s degree from outside the State of Qatar (does not include transfer or visiting students, course students, or students applying for a second bachelor’s degree). The applicant submits the scholarship application in person during the announced application period. The scholarship is not permitted to be carried over to the next academic year, and applicants for this scholarship are selected on a competitive basis.

Application requirements:
The applicant must have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
The applicant’s grade in high school must not be less than 95%.
The applicant must obtain final (unconditional) admission to the university.
The applicant must meet the admission requirements for the college he wishes to join.
Obtaining the scholarship is conditional on joining the university in the semester in which the scholarship was obtained. The start of study may be postponed for one semester if necessary and after obtaining the approval of the Scholarships Committee. If the student does not pass the first semester, the scholarship will be canceled immediately and he will be notified of this via the university email
The applicant must have good conduct and behavior.
The applicant must not have received any additional funding or grant from another party.

Continuation conditions:
The student’s cumulative GPA at the university must not be less than 3.0 out of 4.0.
Pass at least 12 credit hours per semester.
To register in all semesters (fall and spring) consecutively.
The student must not exceed the approved period of study in the academic program according to the study plan.
Adhere to all university regulations, policies and procedures followed at Qatar University.

It is worth noting that when necessary, the student’s score on a standardized English language test (IELTS) or (TOFEL) as well as a standardized mathematics test (SAT, ACT, QU Math Placer) or other criteria that the scholarship committee finds appropriate may be taken into consideration.
