What are the duties of the cashier?
Receiving customers when entering or leaving the store.
Manage transactions with customers using cash registers.
Review and inspect merchandise and ensure pricing accuracy.
Inventory and collect payments whether in cash or credit cards.

Track budget transactions and report any discrepancies.
Follow up on exchanges and returns of products.

Skills needed for the cashier job
Proficiency in using various computer accessories such as invoice printing devices and product code readers.
Ability to use database programs.
Good proficiency in mathematics.
Possessing communication skills with different personalities.
The ability to arrange tasks and manage time in a distinctive manner.
Working to gain customer trust and satisfaction.

Personal skills required for the cashier
Speed in performing work, completing purchases and issuing invoices to the largest number of customers in the shortest time.
The ability to communicate with customers positively helps them fulfill their needs.
Basic arithmetic skills that can be employed in monetary transactions.
Pay attention to details and focus when receiving the correct amounts and returning the remaining amount.
Manage multiple tasks and move from one task to another without causing any errors.

Restaurant waiter duties
Greet customers and take them to their seats
Listening to and writing commands
Carry food and drinks to customers
Save the menu and special food items for the day
Check in with customers to see if they need anything
Cleaning tables after customers leave
Clean up spills and broken dishes and glassware
